I danesi Mew annunciano l’uscita del loro settimo album Visuals prevista per il 28 Aprile 2017 via Play It Again Sam.
A differenza dei precedenti album, Visuals arriva abbastanza rapidamente dopo l’acclamato ‘+ -‘ del 2015. Come spiega il front-man Jonas Bjerre “Durante il tour mondiale per ‘+ -‘ abbiamo avuto un picco creativo eccezionale, abbiamo scritto diversi brani on-the-road ed è scattata la scintilla. Ci sembrava giusto rompere il ciclo regolare facendo un album spontaneo, mantenendo l’energia generata da quel tour mondiale piuttosto che aspettare i normali tre o quattro anni.”
Visuals è stato registrato e autoprodotto a Copenhagen in meno di un anno.
